Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya showcased its exhibition Sacred Groves of India in collaboration with Maharashtra Vruksha Samvardhini & Naturewalk Charitable Trust, Pune under the programme Mission Devrai Festival 2015.

                The exhibition was inaugurated on 1st October 2015 by Sh. Vijay Kale, MLA, Shivaji Nagar constituency, Pune. Sh. Kale visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts made by IGRMS in the field of preservation, promotion of Sacred Groves of India. Sh. Madhav Bhandari, Chief Spokesperson, BJP, Maharashtra states was the Chief Guest of the programme, in his speech he discussed on the major issues and challenges of the Sacred Groves of Maharashtra.

                Sh. Sunil Bhide Head, Maharashtra Vruksha Samvardhini and Sh. Sudheer Vaishampayan Hon’ble Secretary Bhandarkar Research Institute were also present. The exhibition was coordinated by Shri Sudhir Shrivastava, Shri Dheer Singh, Shri Sohan Singh and Atul Pandey of IGRMS, Bhopal.
