India is blessed with fascinating biodiversity. To celebrate Earth Day 2019, Dr. Krushnamegh Kunte will talk about India's rich natural heritage, from unique landscapes and seascapes that support myriad species, to the grand geological dramas that unfolded a staggering diversity of plants and animals. He will also highlight some breath-taking natural adaptations exhibited by organisms in India's mountains, forests and deserts. This celebration of biodiversity is also a reminder of its cultural, spiritual and natural significance to its people.
