Drawing attention to Ecological Resurgence at Almatti and Narayanapura dams in Karnataka
This documentary highlights the site’s promise as one of the most important avifaunal sites in India.
Moots the idea of declaring the habitat as a wetland of international importance
 
and a short film: Lake on Fire, (2 mins/English)
 
followed by talks 
 
Bangalore: Preserving the world’s best habitat by noted environmentalist Dr. Yellappa Reddy
&
Status of the Migratory birds in Bangalore - then & now, a talk slide presentation by noted ornithologist Mr. Sridhar
