As a part of the ‘Culture Unites All’ campaign, the CWG launched a special postage stamp during the Culture Ministers’ Meeting in Varanasi. This stamp is designed to commemorate the campaign and depicts the power of culture to underline unity of purpose and unity of action, bridging the gap among the communities across the globe.

The ‘Culture Unites All’ postage stamp has been crafted as a distinctive emblem. On the left side, we see worli art figurines in white, against a terracotta backdrop, the color of soil. United in a circle, the figures pose joining hands, indicating strength and interconnectedness. Adjacent to it on the right, we see a circle of indigo with a swirl of white alluding to circularity, reflecting the ecocentric concepts of reduce, reuse, and recycle. On the whole, this thoughtful design spotlights the idea of ‘Culture for LiFE’, (Lifestyle For Environment) for a cleaner, greener and bluer future for all.

The Culture Ministers of the G20 members and invitee countries released the special edition stamp on 26 August 2023 in Varanasi, to mark the conclusion of the deliberations of the CWG of India’s G20 Presidency, leading to robust, action-oriented outcomes.
