Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya organised “Fag Utsav”, at Chairavati Open air Auditorium
“Fag Utsav” at Manav Sangrahalaya
Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya organised “Fag Utsav”, at Chairavati Open air Auditorium today, in this porgramme songs and dances of Holi Festival in different states of India were performed. Kesaiya Balam Group from Indore started their performance with ‘Ganesh Vandana’ in Fag song. After that they performed, a welcome song from Rajasthan – ‘Dharti Dhora Ri’ also famous a pride song.
The next performance was the most famous song of Rajasthan – ‘Kesariya balam padharo mhare desh’. After the songs, few famous dances of Rajastha like Ghumar on song- Main to Nachna ve aai sa. Next was Chirmi dance, where a dancer dances with several pots and burning lamp on her head. Later, Mayur dance on song - Moriya aacho boloyo dhalti raat me.
After the dances, few various songs of Holi form different region like -Piya to se naina lage re, chunar laayo nakriyo, nache gouri nache etc were performed. The famous Bhawai and Ghodi dances were performed after the songs. The last performance of the day was- Rajasthani Holi and Phulo ki holi.
