Indian Museum, Kolkata, will be celebrating its 202nd Foundation Day on 2 February 2016. To commemorate the occasion, an elaborate programme has been planned, which includes -

the inauguration of the landmark exhibition on Indian Buddhist Art which has travelled with resounding success to China, Japan and Singapore

the Nathaniel Wallich Memorial Oration by Padma Bhushan Dr. Saroj Ghose, the Adviser to the Hon’ble President of India on "The Trident of European Science in the 19th Century India -- Wallich, Forbes and O'Shaughnessy" and

Antar Yatra : A Musical Journey through Buddha's Self Realisation by the eminent Sitarist Shri Partha Bose.
