It is my privilege to bring to your notice that the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) in Kolkata, will be organizing an Exhibition on ‘‘A Tribute to Radhika Mohan Maitra –  Heritage of Musical Instruments” on the occasion of his 99th Birth Anniversay at BITM on February 10, 2016.

The exhibition will have classical musical instruments such as Mohanveena, Sarod, Sursringar, Been, Mayuri Veena,etc used by Radhika Mohan Maitra. Shri Rabindranath Paul, Musicologist and Connoisseur has kindly consented to inaugurate the exhibition. Mr. Friso Maecker, Director, Goethe Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, Kolkata & Mrs. Sujata Sen, Director East India, British Council, Kolkata shall be the Guests of Honour. Mrs. Sudeshna Bagchee, daughter of Radhika Mohan Maitra shall be present as a Special Guest in the inaugural session.

The exhibition will continue till February 28, 2016 .
