Khumbeu
A typical Mizo hat

Khumbeu is a typical Mizo hat shaped like a slightly peaked cap. It is formed in two layers, each made from very thin strips of bamboo finely woven in an open hexagonal weave.

Palm leaves are tracked between the layers. The two layers are tied together at the rim. It is decorated with bird feathers and is exclusively used by the male members.
