All India pottery workshop ‘Shilpayan-2015’

 
 Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is working for national integration, and promotes research and training for salvage and revitalization of vanishing but valuable cultural traditions. In this series Manav Sangrahalaya is organizing All India pottery workshop ‘Shilpayan-2015’ at Ceramic Section at 12 Sheds of Sangrahalaya. The pottery workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Sarit Kumar Choudhuri (Director, IGRMS) and traditional artists. In the first phase of workshop two teams of artisans from Bastar, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.  The three member team from Bastar region of Chhattisgarh is being led by Shri Sahdev Rana and Shri Loknath Rana is leading the two member team from Odisha. In the next phase teams from Tamil Nadu and West Bengal will participate in the workshop. The programme coordinator of this workshop is Assistant Keeper of IGRMS, Dr. R.M. Nayal.
