The 10th Blind Challenge Car- Rally was organized in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya and Arushi, NGO for disabled on 10 January, 2016. There were 51 participants- drivers and the visually impaired navigators took part. The rally was flagged off by Shri Babulal Gour (Hon’ble Minister, Home and Jail, Govt of MP) began from DB City Mall at 10 am and culminated at the Manav Sangrahalaya. On this occasion, Prof. Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri (Director, IGRMS), Shri Anand Patidar (Managing Director, Sahayog Microfinance), Shri Surendra Mittal (Chairman, Mittal Group) and Dr Rohit Trivedi from Arushi was present.
The rally where the vehicle was driven by a sighted person and the navigator was a blind person, the route map in Braille was given to them on the spot. The navigators for the rally were from all over Madhya Pradesh. The rally covered around 35 kms distance within the Bhopal Municipal limits. 51 teams of driver and navigators participated in the 10th chapter of Blind Challenge Car- Rally.
The prize distribution programme was organized at Veethi Sankul auditorium of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. Prof. Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri (Director, IGRMS),  Shri Anand Patidar from Sahaog Pure one, Shri Surendra Mittal from Mittal Group of Institutes were present for giving the prizes to the winners. There were cash prizes and trophies for first two winners in two categories and gifts to all navigators.  Shri Mahendra Manvani and Shri Munna Lal Kushwaha bagged first prize of Rs 8000/-, Shri Rajan Deb and Shri Shubham Sen bagged second prize of Rs 6000/- cash is the expert category.
This year there was a separate category for novice participants where Shri Aditya Gelani and Shri Premdas Hariyale bagged first prize of Rs 8000/-, Shri Sandeep Mukherjee and Ms Monika Sahu Shubham Sen bagged second prize of Rs 6000/- cash.
